Qwant

Qwant is a European search engine developed in France that provides access to web information through categories such as general web results, news, images, videos and shopping. The service uses its own indexing technology and states that standard searches are not personalised according to a user’s search history or interests. Qwant emphasises privacy by not retaining search data for standard search use and by avoiding advertising tracking by default. It also offers a mobile application, browser extension and account-based features including AI-powered answers and webpage summaries. The service is designed for people seeking a general-purpose search engine with an emphasis on privacy and European data protection principles.
