Art UK

Art UK, operated by the Public Catalogue Foundation, acts as a shared digital cultural space that unites over 1 million artworks by 75,000 artists across 3,500 public institutions, including museums, town halls, hospitals, and outdoor street sculptures. The platform features advanced lookups for paintings, sculptures, and photographs, alongside editorial story mapping, curated lesson plans to foster visual literacy, custom digital collection galleries (Curations), and an integrated online commercial shop. The portal delivers high practical value to educators, global researchers, and the general public by operating as a free, centralized database that enhances the digital discovery, tracking, and long-term financial sustainability of local public art assets.
