Project MUSE

Project MUSE, founded as a non-profit collaboration between the Johns Hopkins University Press and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, compiles scholarly content from hundreds of university presses and scholarly societies worldwide. The platform hosts more than 800 peer-reviewed journals and 100,000 digital books across fields such as history, literature, cultural studies, education, and philosophy. Its content is offered free of digital rights management (DRM), allowing users to take advantage of unlimited concurrent access, full-text searching, and unrestricted downloading or printing at the chapter and article levels. Geared toward researchers, students, educators, and global academic institutions, Project MUSE delivers practical value by expanding the discoverability of authoritative academic material while hosting dedicated open access programs to support wide content dissemination.
