The Internet Animation Database

The Internet Animation Database serves as an online compendium aiming to document extensive information about animated works, creators, and media history. The platform features searchable indexes categorized by studios, cartoon titles, series, characters, and participating artists, alongside specialized databases for television broadcasts, streaming videos, music credits, and MPAA numbers. Additionally, it hosts thousands of cartoon screenshots, posters, title cards, and dedicated galleries for animation art, while tracking global home video releases across multiple formats and countries. Designed for an audience of animation enthusiasts, cartoon fans, and researchers, the platform provides practical value by centralizing historical cartoon data, offering community forums and review boards, and allowing registered members to actively contribute research data, reviews, and graphic materials.
