The Cartoon Databank

The Cartoon Databank (formerly known as The Cartoon Scrapbook) serves as a visual history and index for original animated series that have aired on television networks, released via theatrical shorts, or distributed on subscription-based streaming platforms within English-speaking countries. The website compiles an extensive alphabetical and chronological directory featuring global studios like Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Marvel, and Warner Bros. Individual series pages provide plot summaries, character breakdowns, image galleries, and streaming audio files for original cartoon theme songs. Serving an audience of animation historians, vintage media collectors, and nostalgic cartoon fans, the platform delivers practical value by centralizing historically broadcast materials and offering access to standalone reference pages tracking decades of animation history.
