Art History Research Net

The Art History Research net website operates as an online reference repository aggregating primary sources and literature from the 19th and 20th centuries. The platform features five subscription modules: ReView for full-text international journals, Arts + Architecture Profiles hosting biographies for nearly 45,000 creators, Design Abstracts Retrospective tracking design media, and two Research Sources portals for British/Irish decorative arts and poster design history. It also provides open-access bibliographies and architecture dictionaries. Tailored for art historians, academic researchers, and design archivists, the service delivers practical value by digitizing and text-indexing rare art publications, exhibition catalogs, and niche periodicals that are difficult to locate in standard library catalogs.
