My Open Museum

The My Open Museum website functions as a centralized educational portal and digital library dedicated to mapping the visual arts ecosystem. Core features of the platform include a searchable directory of historical artworks, an index of artist biographies filterable by name or art movement, and a location-based directory to explore museums and their specific holdings. The site enriches its structural database through multimedia learning layers, including an interactive Explorer map to locate physical venues, dedicated art history blog articles, and immersive storytelling podcasts tracking creative movements and masterpiece anecdotes. Tailored for students, cultural travelers, educators, and art enthusiasts, the platform provides practical value by offering a free, multilingual space to research international heritage and visually navigate global collections.
