Craft Scotland Directory

The Craft Scotland Directory functions as an institutional lookup portal that tracks independent makers and craft-focused destinations by specialized search criteria. The search interface filters profiles by local authority regions, specific craft materials, and creative disciplines including basketry, ceramics, furniture making, jewelry, millinery, woodworking, and textiles. Supported by Creative Scotland, the site acts as an open-access platform to research independent artisan networks, coordinate direct commissions, and uncover local creative workshops. Tailored for collectors, trade buyers, curators, and craft appreciators, the directory delivers practical utility by centralizing fragmented local artisans into a single scannable register that maps out the Scottish craft sector.
